How do I pick the right size?
Trying to get the best fit for you is important to us. See our chart for guidance.
For our Artist's Palette ($199.00) and Wearable Art ($229.00) range, we recommend that you match the size to your normal sneaker/trainer size. If you are normally an AU/US 7 pick a size 37.
Do not use your normal EU size as some brands using EU sizes are made in Asia and they do not accurately correspond with EU sizes from Spain or Italy.
For our Gallery Range ($249.00), we recommend you select a half size bigger as the patent leather gives the shoes a tighter fit.
I can't stand "toe cleavage", do your shoes have this?
Our shoes have been designed to get rid of the dreaded toe cleavage. So the answer to this is no!
My feet are wide, will they fit me?
Our shoes will suit people with average (B fit) to slightly wide feet (C fit). Our leather does stretch though and we have had feedback from people with wider feet (size D) that they fit well and are comfortable.
I have seen pictures on Instagram/ Facebook but these are not available to buy on your website?
As a small business, we can only stock so many shoes at one time. We are more than happy for you to email us at email@example.com to let us know which shoes you love and we can talk to you about pre-ordering a pair.
How can I best look after my fLats?
Take care of your fLats by fletcherLovell just like any other pair of shoes. Using a regular leather moisturiser on our leather fLats will help keep them soft and we recommend waterproofing our fabric fLats.
We also recommend that you avoid shopping trolleys! This is the fastest way to put black marks all over your shoes, Penny learned this the hard way with her favourite pair of Belle fLats.
Do your fLats rub at the back of the heel?
Our fLats are slightly higher at the back of the heel to avoid rubbing. Feedback has been that they fit well and do not rub and cause blisters.
However, if you find that you have a blister at the back of your heel, for any of our range with bows we suggest that you un-tie the bow and loosen the trim. As they are tied by hand, sometimes they are over-tightened and that will cause them to cut in.
You may also find when the leather stiffens in winter, or when it gets cold, that it rubs and that you might like to wear a pair of invisible socks.
Do you have small or large sizes?
Our smallest size at the moment is size 36 and our largest is size 42. If there is enough interest, we can order as small as 34 and as large as size 44. Please email us if you are interested in purchasing large or small sizes.
Who do you use for postage?
We do not yet have a favourite provider. Your shoes might be couriered by DHL, TNT or Australia Post/StarTrack Express.
